girls academy league

The Girls Academy League (GA) is one of the top youth soccer leagues in the United States for elite female players. Founded in 2020, it was created to provide a high-level competitive environment focused on player development, exposure, and pathways to college and professional soccer. The league features clubs from across the country and emphasizes standards in coaching, training, and competition to help players reach their full potential. In addition to regular league play, the Girls Academy hosts national events and showcases that allow athletes to be seen by college recruiters and national team scouts

VSA Rush competes in the Midwest Conference West Division against teams from Wisconsin (SC Wave & North Shore United), Minnesota (Tonka Fusion Elite & Salvo SC), Nebraska (Sporting Nebraska), & Kansas (Union KC, Sporting City, & Kansas Rush).

The GA Aspire League is a competitive division within the Girls Academy designed to support the development of emerging clubs and players striving to reach the highest levels of youth soccer. It provides a structured environment where teams can compete at a strong regional and national level while working toward the standards of the full Girls Academy League. The Aspire League focuses on player growth, quality coaching, and meaningful competition, giving athletes opportunities to improve their skills and gain exposure to college scouts and higher levels of play.

VSA Rush competes in the Midwest Conference against teams from St. Louis (St. Louis DA & Lou Fusz Athletic) & Kansas City (Kansas Rush, KC Fusion, KC Legends, Toca FC, & Union KC).

The NewComp League is a new youth soccer competition in the United States that will begin play in the 2026–27 season. It was created through a collaboration between US Club Soccer and US Youth Soccer to unify the competitive landscape and provide a clearer pathway for teams and players. The league combines elements of the National Premier Leagues (NPL) and the US Youth Soccer National League, bringing thousands of teams into one national structure with regional conferences and districts. NewComp focuses on meaningful competition, reduced travel through regional play, and a merit-based system that allows top teams to advance to national postseason events.

VSA Rush competes in the Central Conference District 2 against clubs from Iowa, Nebraska, Kansas, & Missouri.

The Club Development League (CDL) is a competitive state-wide player development soccer league for 13U through 19U players. CDL is fully-sanctioned under US Club Soccer and dedicated to improving player development through the organization of standards-based league. The CDL is made up of the following member clubs: VSA Rush, CVSC, CRSA, FC United, ISC, Pearl City SC, Sporting Iowa, Dubuque SC.
