Team Placement Policy
All players must register and attend VSA Rush Tryouts to be placed on a VSA Rush, Iowa Rush Select, or VSA Select team.
Prior to tryouts, all registered players will be identified in four categories from previous affiliation: VSA Rush, VSA, Iowa Rush, non-affiliated.
Regardless of category, players first will be selected onto VSA Rush teams based on merit.
Current VSA Rush players will be evaluated for VSA Rush roster positions. If players do not make VSA Rush, they will be placed on Iowa Rush or VSA according to these policies.
Players with a previous affiliation to Iowa Rush will be placed on an Iowa Rush select team (Blue/Grey/White).
Players with a previous affiliation to VSA will be placed on a VSA Premier or Competitive team.
Players that are non-affiliated from the previous year will be placed on Iowa Rush Select (Blue/Grey/White) or VSA Premier or Competitive teams based on the following criteria in this order:
Shortest distance between physical address of player and Prairie Ridge Soccer Complex (1510 NW Ash, Ankeny, IA) or Timberline Soccer Complex (2655 SE LA Grant Pkwy, Waukee, IA)

The attached age group sheets below offer a brief overview of what you can expect in each age group including coaches, key events & tournaments and annual fees.
